AT 456 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM NEAR WINAMAC, MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH. THIS STORM CAN PRODUCE DIME SIZE HAIL, WINDS UP TO 50 MPH, OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND BRIEF TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS. 


INDIANA LOCATIONS IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE: KNOX, NORTH JUDSON, CULVER, HAMLET, RIPLEY, DENHAM, VANMETER PARK, AND BEARDSTOWN.

THESE STORMS CAN PRODUCE PEA SIZE HAIL, WINDS GREATER THAN 40 MPH, OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND BRIEF TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS. LOCALIZED FLOODING MAY OCCUR WHERE RAINFALL RATES OF AN INCH PER HOUR OCCUR.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTHERN INDIANA HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR: SOUTHEASTERN ELKHART COUNTY, NORTHEASTERN KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, SOUTHWESTERN LAGRANGE COUNTY, AND NORTHWESTERN NOBLE COUNTY UNTIL 4:45 PM EDT.

*AT 4:06 PM EDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR NORTH WEBSTER AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THIS STORM CAN PRODUCE QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND 60 MPH WIND GUSTS.

AT 414 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 9 MILES WEST OF ROYAL CENTER TO 34 MILES SOUTHWEST OF WALTON TO 58 MILES SOUTHWEST OF WALTON. THIS STORM IS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THIS STORM CAN PRODUCE PEA SIZE HAIL, WINDS GREATER THAN 40 MPH, FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS.

THIS STORM CAN PRODUCE NICKEL SIZE HAIL, WINDS UP TO 55 MPH, FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE INCH ARE POSSIBLE WHICH COULD CAUSE BRIEF LOCALIZED FLOODING.
