Winter Weather Advisory Issued by NWS NorthernIndiana (Northern Indiana and Northeastern Ohio)

Indiana Target Area: Fulton, Marshall, Noble, Northern Kosciusko, Pulaski, Southern Kosciusko, and Starke Counties.

 

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM EST /9 AM CST/ FRIDAY TO 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ SATURDAY.

*WHAT: Snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph late Friday night into Saturday morning.

*WHERE: Portions of northern Indiana.

*WHEN: From 10 AM EST /9 AM CST/ Friday to 7 PM EST /6 PM CST/ Saturday.

*IMPACTS: Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

*ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The worst travel conditions from snow and blowing snow will be late Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Rain will likely mix with snow for most of Friday which may limit impacts and accumulations during the day.
