A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW THIS WEEKEND...MAINLY FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY. THIS SYSTEM IS STILL SEVERAL DAYS OUT AND ANY SMALL CHANGES IN FORECAST TRACK WILL INFLUENCE THE POTENTIAL OF ACCUMULATING SNOW...AND WHETHER PRECIPITATION FALLS AS MAINLY RAIN OR SNOW. *WINDS WILL BE AT 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH LATE TONIGHT, WHICH WILL BE INCREASING TO 25 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 55 MPH THURSDAY.

THE HIGH WIND WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

AT 950 PM EDT...A LINE OF SHOWERS EXTENDED FROM NEAR THREE RIVERS MICHIGAN TO WARSAW INDIANA TO JUST EAST OF MONTICELLO INDIANA. WINDS WILL SHIFT TO THE WEST AND INCREASE TO 20 TO 30 MPH WITH A FEW GUSTS TO 40 MPH FOR A FEW HOURS AFTER THE LINE OF SHOWERS PASSES. WINDS WILL SUBSIDE BACK INTO THE 15 TO 25 MPH RANGE LATE TONIGHT. THESE STRONGER WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO REACH THE INTERSTATE 69 CORRIDOR AFTER 11 PM EDT...AND ACROSS NORTHWEST OHIO TOWARD MIDNIGHT EDT.
